Saturday mornings in Dubrovnik – free themed tours during the winter months

“Saturday winter morning in the city”is a cultural & sightseeing programme organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board for all visitors staying in Dubrovnik. The programme lasts throughout the winter months, ending in late March.

The themed tour “Cosmopolitan Dubrovnik” is held every Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m. at Pile.

Learn about the development of the most numerous European religions, their origin and spread throughout Europe, as well as the religious groups that settled in the area of ​​Dubrovnik in the past centuries. Learn all about religious tolerance, tolerance and coexistence in Dubrovnik over the centuries on the example of a tiny, only 1.06 ha, historical town.

Following the thematic tour of the city with an expert guide, enjoy the performance of the Linđo Folk Ensemble in front of the church of St. Blasius.

In addition to the free program on Saturdays, the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik also organizes a free themed tour of the city dedicated to seafaring, “Maritime Dubrovnik“, which will be held every Wednesday starting at 9:30 a.m. at Pile, in English.

All visitors and fellow citizens will have the opportunity to hear a little more about the Republic of Dubrovnik, which built its survival, fame and wealth on seafaring, on the points built in domestic shipyards and the goods that were transported and sold on these ships throughout the Mediterranean, along the coasts of Western Europe, all the way to India on to the east.
