ALH x Maritimo Recycling – Clean-up action
Partnering with Maritimo Recycling – who specialize in collecting and recycling Adriatic sea waste, we are proudly moving forward with our sustainability efforts.
This year, just like last, our hotel directors, managers, and frontline employees volunteered their time and energy to comb the beaches of one of the Elafiti islands. Armed with determination, they meticulously picked up and properly disposed of any plastic litter scattered along the shoreline—waste that had either washed ashore or been left behind by visitors.
This cleanup action is a constant reminder to us that collective efforts, no matter how small, have the power to create lasting change in safeguarding our ecosystems and ensuring a sustainable future.
To ensure this initiative remains environmentally responsible and impactful, we continued our partnership with Maritimo Recycling. Together, we took extra steps to fully recycle the collected plastic rather than simply disposing of it—a testament to our dedication to reducing waste and promoting circular solutions.
Following the cleanup, we focused on giving new life to some of the collected materials.
