If you happen to find yourself in Dubrovnik from September 27th to 29th, make sure you stop by in front of St. Blaise Church to enjoy authentic Croatian delicacies and products made of jams and marmalades. This sweet festival has been held in Dubrovnik for nine years in a row and has become a traditional Dubrovnik autumn event.
This unique gastronomic event preserves Croatian culture, heritage, tradition and customs where exhibitors dressed in traditional costumes, present quality products from small family producers from all over Croatia.
Since everyone is welcome, be sure not to miss this opportunity to taste and buy delicious products from all over Croatia at one place. Choose from a wide selection of jams and marmalades made of lemon, cherries, strawberries, plums, figs or oranges, and take home with you a unique gastro souvenir.
A must try is jam made from the authentic Dubrovnik bitter orange, known for its traditional scent.
The event is organized by the local non-profit association DEŠA and the association for the promotion, protection, growing and processing of sour orange called ‘Dubrovnik orange’, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce - County chamber Dubrovnik, with financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
